I'm Back!

October is almost over.. How did that happen?!
I can't complain though because I, like many it seems, am a Fall kinda girl!
I love leaving the windows open to let the crisp air in.
I love pulling out all my cozy sweaters and snuggling up with a soft blanket while sipping a cup of hot tea.
The changing colours and the excitement of the upcoming holidays with friends and loved ones makes this time of year really special.
Recently I tried my very first pumpkin spiced iced coffee and I have to say, I finally understand the obsession!
The only thing I could do without, is the various viruses my children bring home from now until spring…
It's been some time since my first (and up till now, my only) blog post, for many reasons.
If I'm honest, I had a little bit of writer's block. I found myself hesitating, concerned about what others wanted to see from me. But mostly, I spent the summer with my 5 year old daughter, while she was off for the summer holiday.
During that time, in between playdates and various other ways to keep her entertained, I was trying to establish how I want to show up on social media and online in general as a designer and entrepreneur.
This is all very new to me. I'm not a writer, I never thought I'd own my own design business
(but more on that later!)
And I myself am in the process of discovering who I am.
Which, if we're honest, isn't that a lifelong journey?!
My hope is to be able to share just that … my journey as a female entrepreneur.
What/who inspires me in life and design, my personal interests, like the books I'm reading and the shows/movies I'm watching and my journey jumping back into painting. All with the hope to inspire others along the way.
